How many attorneys in Congress? This is a slightly outdated statistic, but

535 Senators and Representatives. 213 are lawyers. So THAT is why legislation to rein in lawyers doesn't seem to have either party enthusiastic about passing it.
Vote against lawyers who are running for Congress. Then maybe there will be a chance. Both parties are culpable in this.
