Things Get Dire For Donald Trump As Campaign Manager Admits That Trump Is Clueless

By Jason Easley on Sun, Jun 26th, 2016 at 3:40 pm

Donald Trump's campaign manager admitted that one of the virtues of having Trump as a candidate is that he doesn't know what is going on.

"And the good thing is, we have a candidate who doesn’t need to figure out what’s going on in order to say what he wants to do. So our campaign is organized. We’re ready, we’re going to have a good convention, and we’re confident that we are not behind the Clinton campaign. They’re muscle-bound. We’re not."

When the big selling point for a candidate is that it doesn’t matter if he campaigns or not because he doesn’t know what’s going on, that is a problem. The fact that Republicans view Trump’s cluelessness as an asset speaks volumes about the state of the GOP.

The Republican war against intellect, facts, and education has reached the point where Donald Trump’s ignorance is a virtue.

Trump is just going to say what he is going to do without policies, no matter what else is going on in the world.

The Trump campaign is suggesting that they don’t need to be organized because the candidate is making it up as he goes along.

The Republican Party’s rejection of substance while embracing anti-intellectualism has finally paid off in the candidacy of Donald J. Trump.
