OT response: looking at doing a call spread on AAPL, no closer in than August. Every time people have cried "DOOMED!" on AAPL, it's been the time to buy it. Call spread minimizes risk (but also puts a cap on profits). Sometimes I keep a few calls in the clear, no calls sold against it, just in case.
