Even though it IS annoying that the market makers were playing games.
Would sure like to know if that early trade, up 16 cents, was some desperate short who wanted to deploy profits into AVXL (hi there AVXL pumper who I've called out before). I think Grotty's theory rings true that someone was covering, and the market maker obliged by selling it at a high price and then the MM shorted it. You know, that "temporary" naked shorting thing they're always claiming the market makers do, to make the markets move smoothly.
