Union Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ:UNB) today announced the results of voting at the Company's 125 annual meeting of shareholders held on May 18, 2016. Approximately 87.74% of the Company's outstanding shares of stock were represented at the meeting. Incumbent directors Steven J. Bourgeois, Kenneth D. Gibbons, John M. Goodrich, Timothy W. Sargent, David S. Silverman, John H. Steel, Schuyler W. Sweet, and Cornelius J. Van Dyke were reelected to a one-year term. Dawn D. Results for December 31, 2015 reflect increases in interest income of $292 thousand, or 1.2%, noninterest income of $883 thousand, or 9.9% and a reduction in interest expense of $130 thousand, or 6.0%.
