I agree with your assessment that Mako and Rosen are merely tools of the short. I think most here understand the shorts should face criminal charges as many of them should have during the recent banking crisis. Too big to fail or too big to jail or both? What I like about the Judge ordering Rosen to buy those 1 million shares and present them to the court in certificate form is that it would be a win win for the company and its investors and a lose lose for Rosen and the shorts. Think about how high those shares would go if real shares had to be acquired and submitted to the court in say a month's time. Do I expect this to happen? No. Would I love to see it happen and would it send a message to those who are naked shorting? You bet. Would other respected legal firms likely be willing to go after the abusive criminal shorts in similar instances? I think so. Abusive naked shorting is rampant and needs to be stopped and don't thinkl the pink sheets is the only place its happening because it is happening on all exchanges, granted the OTC is the least watched but it needs to be banned, period. Trillions stolen from investors, lots of companies bankrupted and jobs lost in the process. This is not the America I grew up in nor is it the America I want for my grandchildren.
