The program consisted of geological and geophysical surface work in two separate areas. The first area of work was the JR area, where detailed mapping and sampling were done. A total of 303 rock grab samples were sent to the ALS laboratory in Val-d'Or for gold assaying. Work was also done on the Peninsula area, where a magnetic and electromagnetic ground survey of +/- 70 km was conducted, followed by a geochemical soil survey (B horizon) on the entire Peninsula area, with systematic sampling every 50 metres on lines spaced at 100 metres. A total of 728 samples were collected and sent to the ALS laboratory to be assayed for gold and indicator minerals.
