Agreed, there are several possibilities, and one of them is some (probably most) correspondence with the SEC means many hours of digging and or editing of documents and last minute requests just can't be turned around in time. Experience can be a factor, like you said, as well as the lack of extra help just across the hall like larger companies can pull off much easier. That's been my major gripe, that several of the more critical posts continue to reference what's typical for large companies, not start ups just attempting to move up from the pink sheets for the first time with limited resources. Speculation is the name of the game in the early stages. If you called it right, it'll pay off big time. If not, there's still a great chance you can still turn a profit before the proof you await suggests you were wrong. Buying into pink sheets, you hope to see them move in the direction these guys are moving. You can sit on the bench and wait for proof, but the biggest gains will come from buying in at ground floor when proof just didn't exist yet.
