A distinction without a difference considering both how rapidly a shooter can pull the trigger and can change 20 or 30 round clips
And considering that it is a military weapon that fires a high velocity round that tumbles when entering flesh and breaks into pieces when striking bone, it really didn't matter to 50 killed and to the surviving wounded that the weapon was not automatic.
It's a f*cking assault rifle and it's not used for hunting because it.............tears up the meat and leaves them damned round fragments that combat surgeons just hate.
