Don't underestimate the people / groups with big pockets who clearly have a large stake in REDG. When there are no diluting market makers on the ask, it can be relatively easy to move up once you get a few slaps of 10M/15M/20M against an ask of 100M or less - provided low-level flippers don't keep topping up the ask.
Remember how for weeks earlier this year there was 400M .0001 x 89M .0002.
Then, suddenly, out of the blue, someone made a few big buys on the .0002s and the rest were gone in minutes. The subsequent upticking - until flippers whacked the bid - went like this:
Day 1: 100M at .0002 - .0002s gone.
Day 2: 142M at .0003 - .0003s gone.
Day 3: 41M at .0004
Day 4: 28M at .0004 - total 69M .0004s gone
Day 5: 12M at .0005 - .0005s gone
Day 6: 58M at .0006
Day 7: 41M at .0006 - total 99M .0006s gone
Day 8: 25M at .0007 - .0007s gone
1.5M at .0008 then the flipping bid whacks started
So 40M>100M cleared out each .0001 level.
There have been a lot of bulk purchases going on at non-retail prices - taking shares off the hands of the convertible debt sellers - for a reason.
