Fitch Ratings has assigned a 'BBB-' rating to Crown Castle International Corp.'s (Crown) new $750 million 3.7% senior unsecured notes due 2026. Additionally, Fitch rates Crown's 3.4% senior notes due 2021 'BBB-'. Crown is offering $250 million of additional notes under the same terms as the $600 million 3.4% senior unsecured notes issuance previously completed on Feb. 8, 2016 and due in 2021. Net proceeds, along with cash on hand, will be used to repay the Senior Secured Tower Revenue Notes, series 2010-2 and series 2010-5 and to repay a portion of the outstanding borrowings under the senior unsecured revolving credit facility.
