The "intelligence" is in being able to control/dominate the discussion/general investment (ie trader wrt to iLie) and steer it to the desired means without really taking on liability for posts/comments. These guys generally know exactly where the line iz even though theh continually push it. That is where greed will bring them down and what TS was referring to inKBM being better served in cutting losses/sav8ng face and quietly settling with HJOE and make them go away so they dont bring undue exposure to the entire operation.
ILie is designed for traders NOT investors. Traders have no interest in long term viability - only momentum and money flow. In this regard, it is easy to manipulate securities where there is heavy toxic debt and "guaranteed" liquidity to cover short positons. These schemes are sophisticated and far reaching. You dont perpetuate them for as long as they do without a certain amount of dedication and sophistication. The average trader is not going much beyond a few posts and start following posters who are "right". When you are working with lenders and MMs to manipulate and stifle/eliminate all discussion to illuminate the scheme - there is a certain amount of "intelligence" in the process. How else would he be able to continue to operate ...?
As far as R/s - every scenario that has been proposed was well into the future witb significant strength. One HAS to understand multiples and how longer term investors "value" stocks to understand where the benefit resides relative to market cap and overhang. Further - as everyone on here "takes profits" during price appreciation- who will be absorbing all those shares...? If i sell 30% - it will take several weekz to absorb at current trading assuming no one else is selling as well. If price is rising- there will be more selling. Without the manipulation being built in with shorting/converting - there will be less momentum plays manipulated allowing for large sells by long terms into appreciation. You will find you are more locked into those larger positions than you realize
