Mediterranean Announces Proposed Sale of Turkish Subsidiary Akdeniz

Mediterranean Resources Ltd. (the "Company"
(NEX BOARD: MNR.H)(PINKSHEETS: MNRUF) announces that it has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement dated January 13, 2015 (the "Purchase Agreement", whereby the Company has agreed to sell its remaining 80% interest in Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S. ("Akdeniz" to Cengiz Kaya (the "Purchaser", a director of Akdeniz and a director of the Company's joint venture partner, Ceka Insaat ve Sanayi Ticaret A.S., a Turkish corporation ("Ceka", for gross proceeds of $9 million. Akdeniz holds the Company's sole material asset, the Yusufeli Property (the "Property", located in north-eastern Turkey, that includes the Company's flagship Tac and Corak deposits. All monetary amounts stated in this release are stated in Canadian dollars.

Mediterranean Resources Ltd. (the "Company" (NEX: MNR.H)(PINKSHEETS: MNRUF) is pleased to announce that, further to its news release of December 18, 2014, it has now received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to proceed with the first part of the Letter of Intent for a Joint Venture Agreement dated December 17, 2014 (the "LOI)". The approval allows the Company to proceed with the transfer of 20% of the shares of Akdeniz Resources Madencilik A.S., a subsidiary of the Company, to Ceka Insaat ve Sanayi Ticaret A.S. for consideration of CDN$2,000,000 to be put towards the development of the Company's flagship Yusufeli Property in Artvin, Turkey.
