(TSX VENTURE: CBA) has granted options to acquire an aggregate of 270,000 common shares of Champion Bear to certain directors and officers of the Company (at an exercise price of $0.06 per share until January 17, 2021). 170,000 options were allocated to the Company's President and 100,000 options were allocated to one of the Company's directors. All of these options were granted to replace options that previously expired in accordance with their terms.

Champion Bear Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: CBA)("Champion Bear" or the "Company" is pleased to announce that it will hold its annual general meeting of shareholders ("AGM" on November 7, 2014, at Suite 2400, 525 - 8th Avenue S.W. in Calgary, Alberta. The meeting agenda for the AGM will include the election of directors and other annual general matters, and at the AGM the annual audited financial statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis for the years ending December 31, 2012 and 2013 will be presented. The Company did not hold an AGM in 2013, and has obtained a Court Order enabling the Company to extend the time for holding an AGM past the statutory deadline of 15 months from the previous AGM. The record date for the November 7, 2014 AGM is October 6, 2014.
