POWFOLIO revenues revised! I double and triple checked my numbers this time and had to adjust a little. Instead of rounding, I went to the exact totals. Here is what Stanford Labs (using 2012 numbers for ecpm rates - current rates are very close to the $3 Stanford used.) has researched and calculated as solid estimates for projecting revenues based on number of downloads. These are just projections and should be taken as such - not the actual numbers, just what is potentially here.
These numbers take into account the split REDG has with Glowdot. REDG gets 25% minimum of all revenues from the app. They are 50% owners with Glowdot, but publishers get 50% of the revenue generated from their books that are read. So, REDG gets a MINIMUM of 25% of the revenue - they can get a a maximum of 75% of revenue when people read their books in the app.
Please see the very detailed info from Standford that explains the 20,377 number. It already takes into account most people will delete the app. These numbers show how much per 100,000 downloads. It also includes the calculation for those that end up keeping the app and using it. So, the numbers are legitimate estimates to consider for POWfolio alleviating some concerns others may have had regarding downloads not equating to users. Stanford already includes that variable in their numbers - SO this a rough idea of what to expect.
