I most definitely do remember it, but while it definitely got the attention of plenty of people, it was a localized exposure and the brand was in it's infancy. Dr. Oz liking it, or at least not coming out with any negative comments about it or the category of products, is a good thing. However, I wouldn't expect much in the line of brand attention by him on his show or anything with nearly as much of an audience until you're talking about much higher potency (CBD infusion) and then you might get lucky as long as he does indeed like the flavor and the balance of ingredients in your product. He's already aware of the wealth of clinical evidence stacking up in favor of CBD oil as a nutritional super preventer/healer, but even so he rarely endorses a particular product in the nutritional supplement category due to the lengths that the long reach of big pharma money will stretch and smack you upside da head. He will instead (as he did with resveratrol and green coffee) talk about the known benefits and the ideal doses, and he will then point out the ideal sources as far as quality, specific ingredient break down and how the key ingredients are extracted and/or processed in order to guide consumers to the very best formulations as determined by clinical research. Companies selling nutritional supplements aren't required to have specific (FDA recognized) clinical proof to back up the claims they make concerning the nutritional benefits of the products they sell as long as they include on the product label that their claims have not been verified by the FDA. This creates a sticky area for doctors, but when it comes to hemp seed extract and CBD oil, they've seen a huge increase in research being done by highly accredited research labs due to the huge potential identified by the early research and the realization that it would be a major game changer. Not just in terms of the nutritional benefits for currently healthy people (and their pets even), but also for the potential to cure or mitigate many serious diseases, especially cancers. Just getting confirmation from someone like Dr. Oz that the products containing the key ingredients were very good for you and to go ahead and indulge in your favorite products (providing all other ingredients were high quality, not harmful in any way) is huge. A trend has been developing where more and more health conscious consumers are trying to replace soft drinks like sodas with low ph, high sugar and artificial colors/flavors with healthy alternatives like Rocky Mountain High Brands is selling and developing. We are one of the leaders as far as infusion of beneficial cannabis plant/seed extracts and oils into our products, and IMHO we haven't even begun to see the potential here. That's when the brand building is going to pay off. When the nutritional superiority and superior flavors of the brand, more and more awareness of the brand and vastly increased awareness of the most recent evidence that hemp is a "super food" all meet up. It's one of the reasons we've repeatedly stated that ALL cannabis news (hemp and MJ) will prove a tremendous value toward building this brand as it keeps people looking and looking again at the new body of knowledge. Eventually most people will be "in the know", and considering the progress of hemp cultivation in the U.S., I don't think it's going to take long at all.
