Can I ask how you are close to PTOI? Do you have any affiliation?
Is there something you saw, for which you signed an NDA, which convinced you that PTOI's process had value?
I recently visited the headquarters of another company of which I was suspicious. The CEO was there and offered to take me on a tour of his company's technology and brought out an NDA out for me to sign. I immediately declined.
The problem with allowing anyone off the street to see a technology under an NDA is that there's obviously nothing really secret about it at all! It's a way for shady individuals to regale you with any BS they want and, by the way, you promise not to tell anyone (but they do secretly hope you tell all of your investing friends). If they defraud someone who signed on NDA, what is that person going to do...violate the NDA and take them to court over information they promised not to disclose??
If you saw something which convinced you PTOI had value but which you can't disclose because of the NDA then your biggest worry should be whether what they told you is accurate. There's a reason why Mr. Heddle isn't telling the world how well the process works and it's not because he's just too private.
