I can honestly say that I've never jumped into a quarry and I've had plenty of chances.

Not because I'm afraid of heights or anything. I just happened to pay attention to the local news with my parents before I was old enough to venture out on my own.

I'm telling you, every summer it was like the movie groundhog day with them reporting on injuries & fatalities.
