Not in the least....bottom line. Please provide me with evidence that the overall picture of poverty down to State and county level is not 'relatively' as shown.
In other words forget about specific numbers, which as you stated can vary.
Are not the parts of Appalachia, the SE , the Deep South, the Great Plaines and the Panhandle NOT relatively poverty stricken and thus more dependent on various poverty programs?
Or are they instead booming in employment and personal and family income? Should be easy to prove, if true.
My only point with these charts is to remind people that the scorn directed toward SNAP benefits and other poverty support is misplaced, seeing as many, many GOP voting areas are
dependent on these programs.
The implication is always that the benefits are only going to Dem voting areas, or the mythical '47%', which is clearly not true.
As for 'abuse'? Why the racially charged video for an inconsequential abuse? Seriously, trading SNAP card benefits?
Add it all up and it doesn't remotely approach the lost revenue from tax code abuses/evasions, personal and especially corporate.
