Irony, not the strong suit of righties who post here.
You complain about mis-education and yet you support poorly educated 'word salad' nut jobs like Sarah Palin.
And please don't tell me that there are a lot of Constitooshunul scholars among you. It was a conservative Court that upheld Obamacare, twice.
You don't like 'activist judges' unless they vote your way. See Bush V Gore. You liked THAT straight partisan vote well enough.
As for understanding American History? As always the top students in the top HS's, not just the ones who take AP American history, DO understand. And those who go on to decent colleges and take American History know a hell of a lot more than those holding those semi-literate Tea Party signs, or those who squat on Federal lands.
The problem with your whining litany about 'lefties' is that it's filled with sweeping generalizations, as well as specifics that accurately describe 'righties'.
Another problem is that you actually believe your sh*t and you haven't the chance of a snowball thrown by Sen. inhofe of convincing anyone who doesn't already believe the same things.
Clearly that wasn't enough people in the last two cycles, and the demographics are working against you again.
Dems will hold the draw with the GOP among the college educated, not the college mis-educated to be sure, and they will stomp the GOP among post-grad educated, just as they increasingly have.
Then the GOP is left with the insurmountable task of doing better with Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and women.
