The GSMA Innovation City will return to the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai in 2016, the fourth consecutive year, it announced today the GSMA.

The GSMA Innovation City will return to the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai in 2016, the fourth consecutive year, it announced today the GSMA. The popular exhibition space will make it to be a focal point of the event, inviting visitors to explore an immersive environment that demonstrates how mobile products and intelligent services are positively changing the world around us. The presentation of this year includes a variety of cutting-edge startups experiences, as well as more established companies, and covers sectors such as retail, transportation, automotive, sports and more.

"The city remains one of the most popular attractions at the Mobile World Congress and is the perfect place to experience the latest trends and mobile innovations in a single space. This year we expanded the space to include sections devoted to cover certain areas of interest such as automobiles, home, retail and sports. We always try to meet all interests in mobile and we look forward to welcoming visitors at the show this year, "said Michael O`Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA.

The GSMA Innovation City will include interactive demonstrations of partners, including Akyumen, DTS, Hangar 18 NOA, Huawei, KT Corporation, MYFC, NAES, Nubia, OPPO and Thinfilm and important programs of the GSMA, such as Connected Living, Digital Commerce, Network 2020 and Personal Data. This year, the city includes a number of "Connected Zones" that focus on areas of interest such as sports, automotive, retail trade and innovation, as well as the OPPO coffee and the GSMA Pavilion.
