I beleive that what NTEK is doing right now is spending their money building out their app-based system. Like adding surround sound, Amazon Fire, Apple devices. Like adding friends like Hisense by helping them avoid facepalm fuckups. Like developing VR capability, Like perfecting UHD.
In fact, these are the things we know they are doing.
They are telling us that the industry is not quite ready, but not far away. UHD standards are still up in the air, but the major players continue to move forward. If a NTEK App can make their job easier, we win. Last I heard there was a UHD difference between 4K UHD film and broadcast (Dolby vs something else??) An App could solve this?? That is our business. This is where we win.
It would be nice to get a marketing boost on 4K movies from Hisense and Sharp and Aykumen right now to provide us another 2,000,000 per quarter to spend on buildout. We can do movies.
