Right you are, and that's what separates those playing the slots from those who can ENVISION the TRUE potential and not just invest because others are tossing the term around. Its the sum total of everything you've learned over the years, including the market a company is in and what that holds for the future of the company. Then there's the brand name and the quality of what's being sold, as well as the feed back from distributors and retailers about how customers are responding to the product. For me there were a few negative turns last year that sucked, but they didn't destroy the seed that was planted. It just pushed back the run up in sales, the uplist and pps a bit. Definitely didn't trash the long term potential in my opinion. Everybody has a window of time inside of which if they haven't already hit it big then they feel they're wasting their time and must move on. If your goal is truly long term and you are convinced in the upside growth potential of the company, then you know that if you don't make much in the short term it doesn't mean you won't still clean house. Some people just can't see the needle in the haystack every time. Some maybe never. Remember, we're talking about a company without proven success. You just don't see many chances to load up on a lot of shares of companies that are already proven, so potential is exactly what you must see and see clearly. It's not a guarantee, there's still plenty of risk, but some can see the big picture and some can't. And like I said, some just won't wait it out no matter what the potential. They don't have the patience, or the balls to se any red and not freak out. That's where envisioning the true potential comes in handy. The knowledge you accumulate let's you see right through the half assed arguments the bashers keep tossing back and forth to each other hoping they can shake loose shares from the weaker hands.
