Re: picon #1389
For the life of me I can't understand why people make excuses for CEO's who fail miserably at their fiduciary duty to the company and shareholders. We CHOOSE to purchase shares of a company based on information the company puts out through PR's and SEC filings. The CEO puts out that information to sell the shares to people, when that information ends up being a load of BS it's up to the shareholders to hold the CEO accountable. For some reason, some here believe that personal responsibilty is only a value that applies to shareholders and not management. Hmmm wonder why?

The only thing we can do as shareholders (aside from going the legal route) to prevent pink sheet CEO's from scamming people and making money off of misleading traders and investors is to post and discuss what they have done for future traders and investors to see. When people like that have a reputation for being failures or scammers, the Internet and message boards will help assure they aren't able to do that again. No one will invest in a company with a known scammer, as long as shareholders and traders make it known to everyone what this person did.

Ask yourself why people excuse the fraudulant activity of CEO's and blame shareholders with the "personal responsibilty" card? Why do they think personal responsibility only applies to the little guy and not the guy at the top?
