I'd really like to see a straight buyout of P. Get the funds and get it off the CTIX plate so that more time and effort can be spent on B and K. Using that ~$5B number from that other buyout mentioned recently' CTIX would be able to fund the rest of the B and K trials through to completion and still have money in the bank. That would be sweet!
I'm guessing that the likelihood of the chances of a buyout like that after phase 2 results are probably low. My guess is that the tightfisted BP will want CTIX to continue to do the hard work and will only make a deal for low double digit millions up front, maybe triple digit millions upon successful phase 3, and then start talking large buyout once the FDA approval seems to be imminent. That's not a super deal, but at least it would solve most funding needs for the next few years, get us over the uplisting hurdle, and get CTIX the market credibility that it rightfully deserves.
I would f'ing love to be to totally wrong about this and have a multi-billion dollar deal before the end of the year though!
