Just to show you how fast a stock price can rise:
Last month another company VMRI, skyrocketed from .22 cents to .67 cents in four, count them, FOUR days. That's a .45 cent increase in less than a week.
The crazy thing is, VMRI has had NO REVENUE...EVER. Don't believe me? Read the filings. And yet, the share price jumped to .67 cents. If and WHEN SCIE reaches .67 cents, many of us would probably call our bosses and tell them, "Ya George.. ya.. um, I quit".
Crazy right? Spectrascience has had almost a MILLION DOLLARS IN SALES IN LESS THAN 4 YEARS! VMRI jumped to .67 cents NOT because of a SEC filing.. but because of a PRESS RELEASE.
Investors went berserk over the PR. Image what will happen when SCIE, a company that has had a MILLION DOLLARS IN SALES IN LESS THAN 4 YEARS releases just ONE PR or SEC filing at the right time. We would probably OPEN at .67 cents.
So the point of this post is, while sales are important, in the world of OTC, all it takes is just one PR to change everything. A company doesn't even have to have sales to land over .50 cents PER share.
Although this isn't investment advice, if a company with NO SALES can get to .67 cents, how can SCIE not??
And if you're asking, 'then why is SCIE currently under a penny?' In my opinion, I believe its because investors know the company is real. Investors know the product works. Investors know it has FDA and CE approval. Investors know SCIE owns patents, works with Duke, had another acquisition in previous years, and attends countless meetings and conferences every year. This makes SCIE very transparent and more importantly, REAL. Companies which skyrocket to .67 cents when they have no revenue typically end up crashing and burning. But because SCIE is so real and transparent, investors (especially long term investors) want long term profits. They don't want a .67 cent pop only for it to drop. They want a .67 cent pop, and then a $1 pop, and then a $3.43 pop, and then a $6 pop, and then a $21 pop.. etc etc. And this only happens by allowing the company to build, and build, and build, until its ready for real sales. After sales start, we'll never be down here again.
