BusinessList.com Traffic Surges; Listings Grow by 25% in 30 Days

TheDirectory.com (PINKSHEETS: SEEK), an emerging leader in the Local Internet search space, today reported that overall site traffic for its www.BusinessList.com portal has surged more than 25% since mid-April.
TheDirectory.com Founder and CEO Scott Gallagher stated, "We continue to see success in our efforts to build BusinessList.com into an industry leader in multiple markets. Since April 15th the www.BusinessList.com 7-day Alexa ranking has improved by over 20% to 7,582, and more importantly the site now lists more than 125,000 active classified ads, up from 100,000 on April 19th. The site is now averaging around 7,000 new ad listings every day of the week since the completion of the site redesign."
Gallagher went on to say, "We're very pleased with the initial success since completion of our site redesign. Based on the positive initial market response to the new www.BusinessList.com we're projecting growth to 200,000 active classified ad listings within the next 60 days. And shareholders should expect a similar growth in overall site revenue generated from www.BusinessList.com ."
According to eMarketer, the online adverting market for the directories and classifieds ad channel was $3 Billion in 2011 and is expected to grow to $4.3 billion in the next 3-years.
