As it relates to timeliness of filing and promises that are or are not kept by management, I think there is too much posting of shareholder complaints in IH that is not adding value to the conversation. I am long and strong TALK and haven't sold a share -- I'm not a basher at all.

In my opinion, these risks are priced into OTC stocks already. If AAPL failed to file on time or keep a promise made to shareholders, then the shareholders would be screaming and the stock would tank. But in the OTC, the opposite happens -- shareholders get giddy when filing happens on time or promises get kept and we see the stocks rally. This is a sign that a company is not a train wreck. I know that I pretty much assume that OTC stocks are a gamble and anything can and will happen. It's a different set of rules than those of the bigger exchanges.

On the flip side, the reward in the OTC is awesome when things go right. Where else can you buy a few million shares of a company and then hit a ten-bagger?

So in my opinion, I see a lot of complaints in these forums as a form of venting by shareholders who might have set their expectations too high. We are all disappointed that the stock is not climbing, but it is up to everyone to manage their own risk in the OTC.

I am bracing to be beat up for this post, but it would be great to have some constructive feedback as well. Maybe I have set my expectations too low for the management of these companies?
