Unfortunately the justice system doesn’t punish

Unfortunately the justice system doesn’t punish criminals for financial crimes the same as violent ones. Spending a few years in prison is worth the risk for paper criminals like the Kramer’s. They know the chances are slim they would have to return money and actually serve prison time. It’s unfortunate because I believe most, myself included, would agree to receive a good beat down if forced to choose between the beat down or losing their life savings.
