Same thing applies.. NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE as in.. not investment advice.
SCIE has a distribution agreement with PENTAX. If an acquisition were to ever happen, I do not believe PENTAX would actually buy SCIE. Instead, HOYA is the main company and PENTAX is a division of HOYA. So technically, any acquisition would probably come directly from HOYA and not PENTAX.
What does HOYA do?..

So, as you can see, anything related to endoscopes and 'PENTAX' is owned by HOYA. PENTAX is the brand name for the medical endoscopes.

So the question is.. Has HOYA ever acquired other companies?
