Wasn't my list. But, "enemy of my enemy is my friend."
We sided with Iraq against Iran, 'hard feelings' after the embassy hostage taking I suppose. And watching them kill each other by the tens of thousands was vicarious, 'fun'?
And at the same time we armed the Mujahidin against the Russians.
Russians out, Taliban in.
Remember the Congressional investigations of all that sh*t, led by Dems?
