Yes, there are A-holes at all levels of wealth, all races and all sexes/sexual preference. It is difficult to outlaw being an A-hole. The best we can do is legislate a level playing field for all types of people to participate in the markets at large in a fair and equitable way. There is no easy route to this nirvana, but, it should be a fundamental goal of all american legislators to recognize this importance and steer their various ideas and plans in this direction.

It is especially important that we realize and applaud that equal opportunity does not mean equal out come. unequal outcome is exactly what we want. Unequal outcome means that the free market has selected a winner and the less successful has an opportunity to either change course or appreciate what they have accomplished.

No, I don't believe in Tax one group more than another. We are all in this together. We should all pay the same percentage of our wealth, our income or our expenditures. (I don't care which just so long as it is even for all.)

Right now our corporations face an undue tax burden when it comes to taxation that is not seen most other developed nations. To make matters worse, big corporations with connections in Washington have the luxury of influencing the tax code so as to burden their smaller competition and carve out an exception for themselves. This is absolutely ridiculous. we need to do away with our complex tax code, eliminate all deductions and stop trying to pick winners and losers via the IRS.

Finally, we need to create a pathway out of poverty and off of government assistance. I have no magic bullets here, but, we have some great examples of past experiments that we can look to for the next experiment(s). Too many people are missing out on the dignity of self sufficiency. This leads to social unrest and financial decline of the populous. It stagnates ambition in the children of these folks and it creates perpetual dependence. That is no way to treat our next generation. Every child born today could be the next Einstein, the next Ronald Reagan, the next MacArthur, the next ... You get my point. We don't know what we are discarding by leaving these people in this pathetic state. In the end, we all will be better off if all of our team members get a chance at bat. I think this is something we all can agree on.
