In an attempt to seal the deal with Indiana Republican voters, Donald Trump accused Ted Cruz's father of helping to assassinate President John F. Kennedy.

Trump was talking about Rafael Cruz on Fox and Friends and said, “ His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald’s being — you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous. What is this, right prior to his being shot, and nobody even brings it up.
They don’t even talk about that. That was reported, and nobody talks about it. I mean, what was he doing — what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting? It’s horrible.”
The “report” that Trump was referring to came from The National Enquirer, which is run by one of Donald Trump’s best friends.
The Cruz campaign called the tabloid report garbage, “This is another garbage story in a tabloid full of garbage. The story is false; that is not Rafael in the picture.”
Republican voters are set to nominate a man for president who gets his news from The National Enquirer. Donald Trump will say anything to win. Both Trump and Cruz the ability to lie with conviction.
Rafael Cruz didn’t help to kill JFK, but the fact that Trump would give a tabloid credibility by repeating their bogus claims on television reveals so much about Donald Trump’s character.
Trump has telegraphed that he is going to sling a level of mud against Hillary Clinton that may be historically bad for a presidential campaign. Donald Trump is planning on winning the White House with negativity, and in the process, he hopes that voters will ignore the fact that he is bat crap crazy.
