As stupid as it may sound, the answer is because they can. They can classify cpd under metro pos and get away with having UMS with T-Mobile since their subsidaries and T-Mobile and metro wouldn't ever find out. Maybe they are testing which company is more successful but at this point they have 1600 locations with T-Mobile I think? I don't know
