This goes to prove that Spectra is legit!
I had the thought of debunking the notion that is put forth on some boards, and I think I've read it on this one, that there is nothing real going on here as far as the company having a real product.
Well Leeds Hospital in the U.K. has something to say about that.
(The second paragraph is my simple & non-leading question about the PR released concerning them.) The link they provide proves this is a real email.

I am writing in response to your e-mail received on the 1st April 2016 for information held by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (“the Trust”) under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”). I am interested in a particular piece of equipment and your use of it.

The Trust is currently using the Wavstat system as part of an ethically approved research trial called MORDIS.

A second WavStat console is being sent to enable the Trust to be more efficient in recruiting patients into the trial. The study is on-going and the final results will be analysed and published after the trial has been completed.
