It seems we need Boeing to get to AVIC, as TPAC is the bidirectional bridge between the two entities. If the BQMS paperwork has been approved, then TPAC is put on Boeing's fast track. It was mentioned by IR today that Boeing will be visiting the factory later this month. That sounds like paperwork is in and has been approved; otherwise, the cart would have been put before the horse by scheduling the visit without having satisfactory completion of the paperwork. If AVIC needs TPAC to get to Boeing, and Boeing has just approved TPAC's BQMS paperwork, leaving only a factory visit, AVIC might be ready to put the ink on the JV deal so business can begin as soon as possible.
Yesterday's email also said that TPAC needed 50M in funding, which is now down to 35M. It is possible that 15M in funding came through for either an acquisition or for rapid expansion to meet significantly greater demand, possibly one of the reasons for the capacity meeting(s) with Boeing. Whatever the case the PR should be very solid. I'm thinking that the PR will cover the first signed licensing agreement, and possibly an acquisition or JV, with a bonus topic being how the funding requirements went from 50M down to 35M. With the way IR is stating that business is moving forward, I doubt that the reason for 15M less would be for a decline in needs, especially with 25M in RFQ's.
