Took three attempts starting in 2010 to get NAVAIR approval or certification in August 2014.
10/21/15 - TPAC is approved under SAE-AS81820 & SAE-AS81934 for self lubricating plain SPHERICAL bearings and bushings.
Only Trans-Pacific has a facility in China that is qualified (approved for AS81820 & AS81934).
In the world, only the following also have NAVAIR approval for the above and so are TPAC 's competition, however we are told TPAC can deliver faster for less cost so may well have quite the edge on competition despite their size:
RBC, Minebea, Aurora, Kahr, Kamatics, Specline and SKF (for some applications).
