Respect your elders but "Watch-em".
My mother (who hated weapons),gave away a WW2 German Lugar that was brought home by my uncle. It was brand new, wrapped in oil cloth with all the parts wrapped separately with matching serial #'s.I could have sold that and bought 20,000 shares of CTIX at $.60
As a result,I reacted by removing the Japanese Samauri sword that my uncle left to me and I told her she will not botch this one!
The sword was made by a Japanese swordsmith in 1794 (per the appraisal) and I sold it for $5000 which went right into CTIX last year.
WW2 military (US or German or European) are highly sought after. If you have any (I had an infantry helmit that I sold for $150.00) check them out.
