* Some Additional DD *.....As for the Brad Pitt question, Yes, it would appear that he is starring in the film. I did a search for The Doolittle Raid and Brad Pitt, and several articles popped up indicating that he is in the film.
At this juncture, my question is exactly what $EMJI's role is in the production process. It appears that the Film is being Co-Produced. Here is an excerpt from the article:
"A co-production between the state-controlled Central Newsreels and Documentary Film Studio in Beijing and Los Angeles and Paris-based Global Media Management Film Group, Beresford’s version of the story of the U.S. Army Air Corps Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle, will focus on the aftermath of the daring April 18, 1942 bombing raid he led on the Japanese capital that resulted in 65 of the 80 airmen under his command crashing in or bailing out over China."
This led me to look into Global Media Management Film Group, and this is what I found.....

Christopher Petzel is the Motion Pictures/Finance Executive and the Scotti Brothers are the Firm's Partners. They are also one of our investors at .0002 here. The bio for Chris on the Global website specifically notes that $EMJI will provide production and distribution services for Global. This would seem to indicate that $EMJI will have a role in producing and distributing what is a 100 MILLION dollar film. The question this leaves, however, is how $EMJI SPECIFICALLY factors into all of this. Is Global Media Management Film Group the "European Partner" that Chris was in talks with regarding a possible acquisition? Is there a potential for a reverse merger with them? What I do see is that they are private and headquartered in LA and Paris, where Chris has been traveling. Something is definitely up in that regard and it has something to do with the combination of EMJI, Global Media Management, and the Chinese entities that are co-producing. My question is what arrangement $EMJI has with all of this as to what potential revenues it may realize as a result and thus what benefit this might have for us as shareholders. Certainly, this is excellent news from a connections standpoint because clearly Chris is the real deal. The real issue with these sub-pennies, however, is what actually translates to a move in the PPS on the SECONDARY MARKET.....that is always a much trickier proposition.
I think that if $EMJI is significantly connected to this production, we are in great shape. The budget is 100 MILLION dollars and they have received much of their financing from Han Capital.....a Very Wealthy Chinese film fund.

There is also the possibility that a larger-scale merger or reverse merger or other financing arrangement is going on between Global and EMJI. Maybe Global wants to go public? That would be HUGE for us. But again, that is all speculation and unknown at this juncture.
All-in-All, however, there is clearly some serious money and star-power involved here (Brad Pitt, Director Bruce Beresford (who Chris met with earlier this year)). Again, however, the issue is what is EMJI's role in this whole arrangement. If it is extremely peripheral, that is still good from a connections/PR standpoint but less impactful for the secondary market and the PPS.
My advice to Chris, as HighStandard as mentioned, is to put all of these leads in one place. Twitter is great but it has created a swarm of questions about precisely how $EMJI fits into all of this. A formal PR must be around the corner though given that clearly, many developments have taken place in the past couple of weeks that were not discussed with any specificity in the Shareholder Letter, which at the time, made perfect sense.
Now, however, shareholders are definitely in need of an update. This could be a GAME-CHANGER for $EMJI OR it could be very peripheral and we could be waiting ALOT longer. I do think something big is afoot here, and clearly, this is not Bob's EMJI.....
I might also add, however, that all of this needs to be communicated to the market and AWARENESS needs to be raised. Some form of a campaign or promotion if there is news of this caliber would help to dispel old rumors about this being a bloated pig with a 40B A/S and no business. I still don't think those with only a tangential knowledge of $EMJI realize that the S/S is now 25% of those numbers, we have genuine private investors, debt is almost eliminated, and we have a CEO with hedge fund connections and international reach. If all of that was known and internalized, there would be plenty of Ihub players willing to try a shot at 1 or 2 and many others as well. Hard to believe we are still at .0001. GLTY.
