We have ...agreement. I've mused about BCBS and Cigna selling Life, Accident, Car and Property and making TV ads as entertaining as GEICO's and Farmer's are.
But realistically, any single payer plan would still need supplemental insurance. So let the health insurance companies still offer those as they currently do for Medicare recipients.
Most offer coverage with very low or no deductibles or co-pays for around $300/mo, give or take. Lower cost plans are still better than highest cost ACA plans, deductible and co-pay wise.
Also, untether companies from offering health insurance. Regardless of corp. tax rates, U.S. companies automatically become more competitive with foreign companies and more profitable domestically.
HR depts. are freed up to show more hilarious videos depicting sexual harassment.
Think about it. Why not? At the very least it's worth a non-hysterics laden debate from both Parties.
