4K Studios Film Editor Petr "Harmy" Harmacek Featured in a Cover Article of the Wall Street Journal
Thursday April 21, 2016 - Hollywood, CA -NanoTech Entertainment (OTCPINK: NTEK) makers of the Ultra Flix streaming network, today announced that one of its senior film editors was featured in a cover page article of the Wall Street Journal. NanoTech's 4K Studios division provides conversion of movies from film to digital for streaming including digitization, remastering, restoration and encoding providing the best user experience available in the streaming market. Harmacek joined 4K Studios in 2015 after being discovered for his work on the DE Specialized edition of Star Wars that was the main focus of the April 20th Wall Street Journal Article. "When I saw the DE Specialized edition of Star Wars I immediately reached out to Harmy as I was impressed with the quality of his restoration and remastering skills," noted Alex Rudis, Vice President of 4K Studios. "I was amazed to find out the level of work he had accomplished using basic tools and equipment. We immediately offered him a position with our studio and we are extremely lucky to have him join our incredibly talented film remastering team."
Harmacek has worked on several of 4K Studios projects including work on the 2015 release of "Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman" a project that the 4K Studios and UltraFlix team provided film restoration work on for Adam Carolla's team who produced the film. "I love working on movies, and the DE Specialized project was the best resume I could have possibly used to land my dream job working on films full time using state of the art equipment and software" noted Harmacek.
