I disagree. I think the reason we did not see a price surge on the news is that it has not been picked up by Yahoo. They are the single biggest source of news on stocks to the public. For example, when I wake up in the morning and check to see how the market is doing on my iPhones stock app, it sources news from yahoo, so if it is not there, I won't see it.
The best part about this board is that it is the front line for information. The effort that people put in here to check out obscure sources to get dd is phenomenal, and as a result we know what is happening before anyone else. But most investors are not on this board, so it is entirely possible they are unaware. I'll admit that when I first started researching ntek I would often go to liehub over this board simply because I did not have to make an account to view the posts there and I assumed the information would be the same. I was completely wrong, but I doubt that I was the only person who depended on the easiest sources of information to make my decisions. I also doubt that I am the only person on this board who looks at the iPhone app while I am going about my day to look at prices and see if there is any news.
The news about apple is that great. If it gets picked up by yahoo, I bet we will see an easy single day 30-50% surge. Everyone who was paying attention knew about the r/s when the march 24 pr came out, and the next trading day we surged 65%. I think the apple news is way bigger, it just needs to be noticed.
