Sure, Bernie Sanders is a self-described socialist who is running to the left of Hillary Clinton but would republican voters really rather put Hillary Clinton in the White House? The answer is no, actually HELL NO according to a new Economist/YouGov poll. The poll has Hillary rated very unfavorable by 74% of conservative voters compared to just 51% for Bernie. When it comes to Donald Trump’s supporters the difference is even more pronounced, 89% of Trumpers find Clinton very unfavorable compared to 52% for Sanders.
Ted Cruz and John Kasich supporters are little less harsh on Clinton with 77% finding her very unfavorable and 59% not feeling the bern for Sanders. Anyway you dice it republicans are repulsed by Hillary more than Bernie at this point in the election.
