Good Gaming Appoints Sean Stalzer of the Syndicate to Its Advisory Board and Provides Investor Update
Alert
CHICAGO, IL / ACCESSWIRE / April 18, 2016 / HDS International Corp. and CMG Holdings Group, Inc. (OTC PINK: HDSI & OTCQB: CMGO): Good Gaming, Inc. ("Good Gaming" or the "Company", a majority-owned subsidiary of CMGO, announced today that it is has formed an Advisory Board to bolster its expertise and capabilities in the eSports marketplace and has appointed Sean Stalzer, founder of Syndicate Studios LLC, as its first member.
Said Vik Grover, CEO: "We have been working with Sean and The Syndicate over the past month to vet our 2.0 tournament platform. We have run three separate beta tournaments for their members, simulating tournament conditions to extinguish every possible problem that could arise in tournament play situations. We are excited to bring Sean into our team and view his acceptance of the Advisory Board position as further validation of our vision to build Good Gaming into a destination site for amateur gamers worldwide."
Sean Stalzer commented: "eSports/Tournament Play is a very hot topic in the gaming world today. Unfortunately, most gamers will never get to participate in one and for those that do, few will ever win any prizes. Good Gaming is changing that and making tournaments accessible to everyone. When the GG platform is completed it will be second to none. Not only will it offer tournaments for the amateur gamer, but also the GG Portal will be a world-class destination that gamers want to check first thing in the morning. They will recommend GG to their friends and will hang out on the site after work playing their favorite games. It will offer second-to-none gaming experiences, critical gaming news and some innovative features no one has ever implemented before. In my over 30 years of gaming experience, I have never seen a company with the vision and drive to assemble such a robust and exciting set of features as the Good Gaming team is building. This is the right time to be a gamer, and Good Gaming is the right place to be a gamer at."
Stalzer has been involved with video gaming and the business of games for over 30 years. For more than 20 years, he has been the leader in building long-term, stable, team-focused communities of players. Having founded The Syndicate (www.LLTS.org) in 1996, he has worked with dozens of developers on game titles from nearly all gaming genres. The average lifespan of an online group only encompasses a handful of months, and over 80 million communities have risen and fallen during the time Stalzer has provided leadership for The Syndicate, which is the Guinness World Record Holder for longest running online gaming community. In addition to knowing how to bring players together and keep them together, Stalzer is well-versed in what makes a game successful, what draws players to a game, and more importantly, what keeps them playing. He has authored two books on the topic of making a successful gaming community and been involved with over 150 articles about making games, players and communities successful.
Syndicate Studios, LLC
Good Gaming and The Syndicate (www.LLTS.org) have teamed up to help make the Good Gaming 2.0 platform a great tool for gamers. The Syndicate has leveraged its 20+ years of experience as a community and the more than 20,000 man-years of combined gaming experience, across well over 100 game titles, to provide testing, consulting and feedback on the site, the tournament platform and future enhancements. While there are many other gaming communities in existence, none has the pedigree of The Syndicate and the ability to provide the level of detailed, forward looking and gamer focused feedback. Good Gaming and The Syndicate look forward to continuing to work together to make the Good Gaming platform both the premier e-gaming site as well as a first class hub of opportunity for gamers.
2.0 Platform Update
Good Gaming spent all last week focusing on quality of life improvements to existing systems and areas on the tournament platform. As mentioned above, GG has been running simulated tournaments in automation to ensure the backend of the tournament system. To test the frontend of the tournament system, GG has had internal (i.e., employees) and external (i.e., The Syndicate) testers play through the system. To date, GG has run hundreds of automation simulations without fail and three run-throughs with people from The Syndicate. This has allowed the Company to find and fix all issues that were being encountered in the tournament system. Programmers have made roughly 80 quality of life improvements to the platform with more planned for this week. Good Gaming intends to launch a public beta tournament within a short timeframe, with a launch of the full platform in May when the site will have been completed, tested and proven. Based on substantial feedback and input from The Syndicate, the Company has added numerous features and cosmetic changes to the system that have required substantial additional coding. These improvements have pushed back the full launch date by a few weeks. Said Grover, "We realize that we will only get one chance to make our first, best impression with gamers, thus we are taking our time to assure getting it right."
