Euro, If we are to concede the fact that NTEK is going to RS whether we like it or not I don't think they'll do 1:4 or 1:5, at least not at where the pps stands today. I think the Mendoza Line (for any MLB fans) or danger zone for a penny stock is the .02 mark and even a 1:5 RS barely gets us above that level. If somehow NTEK could stabilize above a penny then maybe but it's looking like there is strong support/resistance at .007 and we may not see a stabilized .01+ until the uncertainty FINALLY gets cleared up. (Hope I'm wrong about that though)
Now, I think the RS became an ugly reality once it became clear we were set to crash through .005 back in early December. Although bouncing off the lows in the mid .004's to .007 it didn't hold and we proceeded to stair step down to a low of .0022 or thereabouts.
So the question is, once the RS was put into play, how did NTEK want to structure such a move? I think the goal is to establish a new pps somewhere between .075 - .10pps. IF that's the case, how do they get there at .0025? They don't, at least not without crucifying Longs with an RS of 1:40. They know the RS is more than simply an accounting measure, they're not stupid and at 1:40 the new .10pps would get bitch slapped in an instant by the Shorts with naked shorting running rampant. Perception plays a big part in an RS, particularly in the Pennyville. So what do they do? So they wait....
NTEK floats the RS rumor and allows the mere thought of such a move to fester and piss most of us off. It's not because that's what they want but because it's better than catching us off guard when it happens. So they wait as the pps continues to languish all the while cleaning house and making subtle changes to improve UF, business as usual. PPS begins to show some strength and now the RS comes back into play.
If they RS today and want to get to lets say .10pps, that's gonna be 1:15. Anything lower than 1:15 is going to require a higher pps to work.
Whatever happens, it's imperative that you pay close attention to the AS. If they don't change it, that spells potential catastrophe and we'll be sub penny again in no time. What they should do is reduce the AS at an equal ratio with the new OS. Only then will that show shareholders they aren't simply going to flood the market with new shares like they've done for the past 2 years.
Bottom line, we are where we are because of dilution and SHORTS taking advantage of it. Post RS NTEK needs to support it's stock and limit the dilution to the equivalent of what the remaining AS currently is. Talk of a post RS share structure OS of 200mm and an AS reduction from 1.79 billion to 400 - 500mm is 100% Horseshit Jones and the stock will get pummeled, I guarantee! 1 to 1 ratio reduction is where we need to be for us LONGS not to get hurt. I will be watching very very closely as events begin to unfold and will post my thoughts.
