Random Ramblings #1 (RR) Note 'RR' is a subse
Post# of 1023
Note
'RR' is a subset of 'DD' (in my world) ..in case you were wondering
Just as predicted.. well, I hate using the word 'predicted' so ill say, 'just as suspected would happen', yesterdays trading wasn't deemed significant enough to be plotted on the 3 Line Break chart, leaving April 6th as still the last significant day plotted.
Anyone notice the Elder chart? Yesterdays close was a blue bar; not red. Ahhhh.. you tricky tricky candlestick chart always not showing the whole picture. We still have great cloud support for the next 25 periods. Notice the cloud has formed a green bubble. Leading span A has gone back down to the red line. It will be interesting to see how the price reacts. ive been wanting to see the price dip low enough to hit the green line; maybe it will happen in the next 2 weeks. Of course, I don't want the price to drop, but right now, things are slow and without a PR or SEC filing, the share price isn't reflecting on the actual worth of the company, so any decent news will correct major dips, so I'm not worried about it.
6 more periods to that elusive April 20th date. How will the chart react? We shall see.
My theory:
The 10Q will show sales. From where? I'm not sure. I'm trying to decide if the UK will be last to show sales and perhaps Germany is ahead of the game. If I had to guess... id say sales will come from these countries in this order (pure guess and just having some fun here):
1. Germany
1a. France
2. Italy
3. Spain
4. Saudi Arabia
5. UK
6. Africa
7. US
This isn't taking into consideration smaller countries in the EMEA. But seeing we had sales last year, I don't really see why we wouldn't have sales in this 10Q. Remember, SCIE sells the forceps in a box as a set. If there were sales last year, and whoever bought the stuff needs more forceps.. theyre going to have to buy them; and these purchase should (in theory) show up in this 10Q.
China is somewhere in that list, but I have no clue when sales would show. I wrote that crazy long post a while back about how SCIE is in touch with China (its all in post #305 if youre interested)
This is a quote from that post:
Quote:
Conclusion:
OneMedMarket, a company based in New York, owns its subsidiary OneMedChina. OneMedMarket created OneMedChina as a way to introduce Western technology to China. And JUST like SCIE's PR said a few years ago that they wanted to expand to China.. guess what.. it's already in the works.
And the people behind Spectra Science either approached OneMedmarket for help, or OneMedMarket found out about SCIE and asked if they wanted their services. Apparently, either way, SCIE is using the services of OneMedmarket which does this..
Quote:
We will use the network created by China Forum (which SCIE was at) over the past five years to facilitate joint ventures, distribution agreements (which SCIE said they were going to do) and direct investment in promising companies with a strong potential in China
And the conclusion to all this; this isn't some dead end, 12 year old press release. This happened LAST MONTH which means Spectra Science is both ACTIVELY working on getting their product sold in China AND Spectra Science is ACTIVELY networking around the world. Which means, MORE PR's, MORE SEC filings, MORE potential!
Of course, coming back to reality.. no sales is also a possibility as well, but I'm guessing sales will show up in the 10Q.
One thing I don't like is SCIE's website. Come on now, update it would ya!? The bottom shows 'Spectra Science News', but it has news from 2014. I don't get how the person in charge of this stuff doesn't realize this; not just with SCIE, but any company. Even billion dollar companies have outdated information. Whatever the case may be, their website isn't a deal breaker, but it sure would be nice for whomever is in charge of the site to simply UPDATE THE NEWS ON THE MAIN WEBPAGE. See? I'm not afraid to point out the flaws in my investments.
I have seen a small number of companies not bother to update their website because they have things planned for an eventual buyout and aren't wasting time, energy, or money on updating their site. Buuuuut.... with SCIE? A buyout? Right now?? They don't have an EV of $10 million yet. Any buyout wouldn't be until around 2018-2020 in my opinion. wow, this post turned into a ramble. I guess not every post of mine can be mind blowing DD, right?
I definitely believe, for the short term, the price is going to hover around these levels until news comes out. Its kind of like Olympic swimmers itching for the starting pistol to go off. The investors are the swimmers. There's probably hundreds of people itching to buy shares; but only at a higher price of around .05, .25, and .50 cents. They want confirmation that this company is going somewhere before jumping in the pool.
If SCIE takes off like I think it will, it will be interesting in a couple of years to see if anyone still has any .0007 - .0009 shares. I know of one stock which is now at around $12 where a select few are still holding on to their .original 30 cent purchase. That's crazy.
Ok, so this post turned more into a diary entry. Perhaps I should have started it with, "Dear Diary.."
