During a prime time press conference in April 2004, President Bush was asked to name one mistake he had made since taking office and explain what he had learned from it. He couldn’t do it. (We gave him 100 to choose from.)

“Maybe I’m not as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one,” he said at the time. But that’s clearly not the problem. Bush was asked the same question today. A year and a half later, he still couldn’t bring himself to acknowledge a mistake.

What President Obama Considers His 'Worst Mistake' as President. It's something he reportedly calls a "shit show" in private.

But, but he didn't really kill bin Laden and, and he doesn't order the lowering of flags fast enough to suit the 'red hots' and the free range morons suffering from ODS. LOL!

In the final year of his second term, President Obama has taken the time to reflect on his legacy in the White House, and the highs and lows of being commander-in-chief. This weekend, in a wide-ranging interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, he did just that, talking about both domestic and foreign policy, and how he'll miss flying on Air Force One.

He said his best day in the White House was the day he passed health care reform, and his worst day was traveling to Newtown after the Sandy Hook school shooting.

He said his biggest accomplishment was "saving the economy from a great depression."

When asked about his worst mistake while in the White House, Obama responded, "Probably failing to plan for the day after what I think was the right thing to do in intervening in Libya." That happened in 2011, when the U.S. helped defeat dictator Muammar Gaddafi. BBC News notes that after that, the country descended into chaos, with two rival governments and violent militias.

At this point, a United Nations-backed government is ready to take charge in Libya, but hasn't yet assumed power.

Obama told The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg that he places some blame on other countries for talking a big game about Libya but not backing it up. "What has been a habit over the last several decades in these circumstances is people pushing us to act but then showing an unwillingness to put any skin in the game," he said.

"When I go back and I ask myself what went wrong, there's room for criticism, because I had more faith in the Europeans, given Libya's proximity, being invested in the follow-up." Publicly, he called Libya "a mess," but privately, he reportedly calls it a "shit show."
