Not to intrude, but pre-ACAS was UPMC a 'walk in the park', all 'sweetness and light'?
How did they seem to the people that they dropped from coverage for a clerical mistake or because the patient had run out of coverage?
(There were entire floors of clerks looking for a clerical error that could deny coverage, or terminate coverage. you can listen to them on You tube.)
What was it like for people with pre-existing conditions who got no coverage or exorbitant plans? If there was no Obamacare, would all or any of the challenges mentioned not have occurred?
I'm not making light of anyone's health care challenges. I'm just trying to remember what a health care paradise it was for everyone pre Obamacare. I can't do it.
