The UK knows its in the spotlight and is looking for new technology to bring them closer to the current standards other European countries have.
Why do you think SCIE released a 2014 PR which read:
It's probably because the UK knows they are lagging behind in their cancer treatments, and from governmental pressure as well as pressure from hospitals, and the fed up population, the government is finally getting with the program. And what better way to show the world than to take part in the latest technological breakthroughs in cancer detection; the WavSTAT4.
