I don't think that happens. Here's why. Hillary supporters were BITTERLY disappointed, and some were very angry with Obama's campaign against her, in '08.

Hillary supporters swallowed their disappointment and turned out for Obama.

I believe that Sanders will clearly support Hillary, that he'll assuage the disappointment of his supporters, and help drive the turn out of those supporters....for Hillary.

I further think that either Trump or Cruz will unite the Dem party against either, just as assuredly did McCain and Romney.

In the end, the 'comrades' always 'return home'. LOL!

P.S. Obama got what was gettable, including but not limited to
avoidance of a deeper recession, if not a depression, The ACA...not possible without two SCOTUS decisions upholding the Constitutionality and the 'mechanics'.

Also he 'got' that mrthrf*cker who hit us on 9/11, and he won reelection despite the sworn commitment from the GOP majority leader to prevent that.

I can't account for the 'disappointment' of the moon bats. I think Obama has done as well as could be expected, considering.
